Lindsay Lucas has spent a lifetime discovering the true meaning of “home.” As the founder and principal designer of Lindsay Laine Interiors, she brings a unique blend of artistry, intuition, and technical expertise to luxury interior design.
Born and raised in Pittsford, New York, Lindsay’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident from an early age. After the birth of her two sons, she and her mother, Lainey launched Lindsay Laine, a beloved home decor and housewares boutique. The store known for its curated selections and timeless pieces. While she flourished in every aspect of retail, from buying and merchandising to fostering relationships with customers, Lindsay eventually felt the pull toward something new.
In 2008, she stepped away from retail to focus exclusively on raising her children. Several years later, an unexpected pivot led her into the IT managed services industry, where she embraced the challenge of learning an entirely new field. Though it may have seemed like a detour, Lindsay trusted the process, gaining invaluable problem-solving and project management skills along the way.
Her passion for design never faded. What began as personal projects, first her own home, then for family and friends, evolved into a full-fledged career. After completing an extensive renovation of her 1940s Tudor, it became clear that her eye for interiors was more than just a creative outlet...it was her calling. While still working in technology, she began taking on design projects on the side. In 2021, she made the leap and Lindsay Laine Interiors was born.

Kristin has been working in the home interiors industry since 2012, crafting brand visuals for boutique design studios. She joined Lindsay Laine full-time as the Brand Director, managing the brand strategy, website, social media content, the portfolio, collaborations, and the Shoppe. When she's not working, Kristin takes frequent trips to New York City and explores Rochester’s ever-growing food, drink, and music scene.

As Client Experience Director and Lindsay’s sister, Katie ensures every client feels supported, cared for, and thoughtfully guided throughout their time with us. Though her background has been rooted in raising her family, she brings an innate ability to anticipate needs, care deeply, and go above and beyond in ways that cannot be taught. We are honored to have her shaping the experience for every client we serve.

Alison brings order, clarity, and momentum to our studio. She streamlines workflows, manages timelines, and ensures every project and vendor relationship stays on track. Rooted in a decades-long friendship with Lindsay, Alison pairs trust and efficiency with a calm, steady leadership style. She is the operational backbone of our team and keeps the business running smoothly, supporting our clients every step of the way.

Ashley brings nearly fifteen years of experience in the interiors industry, lending a thoughtful and detail-driven perspective to residential design. She joins the Lindsay Laine team as a senior interior designer, approaching each project with intention, valuing both the process and the relationships. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking with her husband and sourcing vintage pieces at local antique shops.

Genevieve studied marketing and textiles, merchandising, and design at the University of Rhode Island. After graduating, she worked as an interior designer for a luxury firm in the greater Boston area. She returned to her hometown of Rochester and joined the Lindsay Laine team as a senior interior. In her free time, Genevieve enjoys skiing, exploring the Finger Lakes, and spending time with family and friends.

Ashty studied interior design at the University of Northern Iowa. After graduating, she worked for a luxury design firm in Des Moines, Iowa. Following her time in Iowa, Ashtyn relocated to Rochester and joined the Lindsay Laine team as an senior interior designer. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the north east, spending time with her fiancé, and traveling to visit family and friends.
