ABOUT LLH
Lindsay Lucas has spent a lifetime discovering the true meaning of “home.” As the founder and principal designer of Lindsay Laine Interiors, she brings a unique blend of artistry, intuition, and technical expertise to luxury interior design.
Born and raised in Pittsford, NY, Lindsay’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident from an early age. After the birth of her two sons, she and her mother, Lainey launched Lindsay Laine, a beloved home decor and housewares boutique. The store was known for its curated selections and timeless pieces. While she flourished in every aspect of retail, from buying and merchandising to fostering relationships with customers, Lindsay eventually felt the pull toward something new.
In 2008, she stepped away from retail to focus exclusively on raising her children. A few years later, an unexpected pivot led her into the IT managed services industry, where she embraced the challenge of learning an entirely new field. Though it may have seemed like a detour, Lindsay trusted the process, gaining invaluable problem-solving and project management skills along the way.
Her passion for design never faded. What began as personal projects, first her own home, then for family and friends, evolved into a full-fledged career. After completing an extensive renovation of her 1940s Tudor, it became clear that her eye for interiors was more than just a creative outlet...it was her calling. While still working in technology, she began taking on design projects on the side. In 2021, she made the leap and Lindsay Laine Interiors was born.

Cari studied interior design at Buffalo State before building over five years of experience in high-end residential design, developing a passion for creating timeless and intentional spaces. Recently relocating from Buffalo to Rochester, she brings a thoughtful approach and a dedication to creative, human-centered design solutions. She enjoys hiking, traveling, discovering new coffee shops, and collecting mid-century trinkets.

Ashtyn studied interior design at the University of Northern Iowa. After graduating, she worked for a luxury design firm in Des Moines, Iowa. Following her time in Iowa, Ashtyn relocated to Rochester and joined the Lindsay Laine team as an senior interior designer and Chief Architectural Designer. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the north east, spending time with her fiancé, and traveling to visit family and friends.

Genevieve studied marketing and textiles, merchandising, and design at the University of Rhode Island. After graduating, she worked as an interior designer for a luxury firm in the greater Boston area. She returned to her hometown of Rochester and joined the Lindsay Laine team as a senior interior designer. In her free time, Genevieve enjoys skiing, exploring the Finger Lakes, and spending time with family and friends.

Chelsea brings a diverse creative perspective to Lindsay Laine, with a career spanning more than 15 years across textile design, product design, branding, graphic design, and art direction. Her love of interiors has always been a natural extension of her design aesthetic. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys creating artwork, gardening, sewing, browsing weekend estate sales, and spending time outdoors with her husband and dog.

Ashley brings nearly 15 years of experience in the interiors industry, lending a thoughtful and detail-driven perspective to residential design. She joins the Lindsay Laine team as a senior interior designer, approaching each project with intention, valuing both the process and the relationships. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking with her husband and sourcing vintage pieces at local antique shops.

Miles joins Lindsay Laine to lead operations in South Florida. He graduated from Ave Maria University with a degree in finance and brings experience from Morgan Stanley and a Florida home builder. A former collegiate athlete, Miles brings the same dedication to his work that he brought to the court. He loves being the first to arrive and the last to leave. We’re excited to welcome him to the family business and to have him lead our team in South Florida.

Alison brings order, clarity, and momentum to our studio. She streamlines workflows, manages timelines, and ensures every project and vendor relationship stays on track. Rooted in a decades-long friendship with Lindsay, Alison pairs trust and efficiency with a calm, steady leadership style. She is the operational backbone of our team and keeps the business running smoothly, supporting our clients every step of the way.

Kristin brings over a decade of experience shaping the visual identity of boutique design studios within the home interiors industry. Since joining Lindsay Laine as Brand Director in 2022, she has assisted with brand strategy while overseeing the studio's online presence, portfolio, social media, and collaborations. Outside of work, she loves to travel and enjoys hunting for vintage treasures for her home.

Though her background has been rooted in raising her family, she brings an innate ability to anticipate needs, care deeply, and go above and beyond in ways that cannot be taught. We are honored to have her shaping the experience for every client we serve.

Carol, Lindsay's aunt and Lainey's sister, holds down the Shoppe whenever needed, welcoming familiar faces and new visitors with the kind of warmth that makes browsing feel like being invited into someone's home. Ask her about anything on our shelves and she'll have a story to go with it. Her knowledge of our full collection means every guest leaves with exactly what they came for, and usually a little more.

Deb joins the Lindsay Laine team as a part-time Shoppe Girl. She loves welcoming guests, sharing ideas, and helping them discover beautifully curated décor and gifts that bring warmth, personality, and style to their homes. Outside the Shoppe, Deb continues to run the photography and design business she has loved for more than 18 years. A Rochester native, she and her husband are proud parents of three grown children.

Lainey, Lindsay's mother, launched the original Lindsay Laine shop years ago with Lindsay and is the "Laine" in Lindsay Laine. Her floral arrangements are thoughtfully placed throughout the Shoppe along with her fine art and custom pillows, bringing intention to every corner of the Shoppe. After years working in florals, she still greets each new piece and each new season with the enthusiasm of someone just getting started.
