When our clients first approached us about their townhouse renovation, they had a clear vision: transform their space into a sophisticated, modern home that could accommodate their lifestyle while maximizing every square foot. This whole home renovation project became an exercise in thoughtful design, where we reimagined each floor from top to bottom. The result is a stunning three-level transformation that seamlessly blends contemporary aesthetics with timeless elegance. From the moment you step inside, it's clear that every detail has been carefully considered, every finish meticulously selected, and every space designed with both beauty and function.

Project Renaissance

The first floor serves as the heart of this home, and we knew it needed to make an immediate impact while flowing seamlessly from one space to the next. We approached the layout with an open concept in mind, creating clear sightlines that allow natural light to travel throughout the entire floor while maintaining distinct zones for cooking, dining, and relaxing. The design challenge was to create a sense of spaciousness in a townhouse footprint, and we achieved this through strategic use of color, lighting, and edited furnishings that don't overwhelm the space.

We’re thrilled to share something we’ve been dreaming up behind the scenes: our debut cabinetry collection, created in collaboration with Unique Kitchens and Baths. Launching at the High Point Market in Spring 2026 at the UKB showroom in the 313 Spaces, this collection is a reflection of our design philosophy… timeless, storied, and rooted in craftsmanship. From custom door styles to refined details, each piece has been thoughtfully imagined by our team at Lindsay Laine and brought to life with UKB’s unmatched expertise.

Together, we’ve designed a line that elevates the everyday with beauty and intention. More than cabinetry, this collection embodies heritage, creativity, and is crafted to offer beauty and distinction for generations to come. Follow along as we take you behind the design process and count down to unveiling our collection this spring at Market 2026!

Coming Spring 2026

Lighting was carefully layered to enhance both function and mood. Layers of lighting including, task lighting for everyday cooking, ambient fixtures within the cabinetry for warmth, and statement pendants that bring sculptural interest to the space. Just beyond the main work area, a sun-filled breakfast nook with custom built-in seating creates an intimate place to start and end the day. It’s the kind of spot that naturally becomes a favorite — perfect for morning coffee, casual dinners, and long conversations that stretch into the evening.

This kitchen is not only a centerpiece of the home, but a celebration of collaboration and craftsmanship This is a space built for real life, and designed to feel beautiful in every moment of it.

Perimeter cabinetry is finished in our signature LLI creamy white, keeping the space light, airy, and effortlessly classic, while the island is wrapped in a warm, mid-tone walnut that grounds the room and invites gathering. Behind the custom Armac Martin aged brass mesh doors, walnut and white cabinetry continues into pantry and storage areas, blending function with beautiful, furniture-like detailing. Aged brass hardware throughout adds softness and patina, designed to grow even more beautiful with time.

The kitchen is where this home truly comes alive. Designed as a chef’s dream that is equally perfect for entertaining and everyday living. This space proudly marks the very first installation of the Lindsay Laine Home × Unique Kitchens & Baths cabinetry collection, making it a defining moment in both the home’s story and the evolution of our brand.

At the heart of the design is the Thatcher door style from our debut collection. Thatcher is a classic inset profile featuring a delicate beaded frame and a soft interior cove along the stiles and rails. This subtle architectural detail brings quiet character and timeless elegance, offering the kind of craftsmanship that feels both refined and welcoming.

The living and dining areas flow together, creating an entertaining space that feels both grand and inviting. We designed the living room around the fireplace, which serves as the room's natural focal point. The furniture layout encourages conversation while maintaining clear pathways. In the dining area, we created a more formal setting that's still approachable and livable. The lighting in these spaces was carefully curated to create different moods. A mix of textures will be incorporated through upholstery, window treatments, and accessories. The color palette remains cohesive with the kitchen, creating a seamless visual flow throughout the entire first floor.

Living + Dining

The primary suite is a true retreat, designed to be a sanctuary where our clients can escape from the demands of daily life. We approached this space with a hotel-inspired sensibility, focusing on luxury and comfort.. The bedroom itself features a carefully curated palette of soft, soothing tones that promote rest and relaxation. The primary bathroom is where we really went for impact, creating a space that feels like a high-end spa. The custom linen closet provides ample storage for towels, toiletries, and all the essentials.

The Primary Suite

The laundry room proves that functional spaces can absolutely be beautiful, featuring smart storage solutions, durable surfaces, and thoughtful design details. We maximized every inch of space with custom cabinetry, incorporated a folding station, and selected fixtures and finishes that coordinate with the rest of the home's aesthetic. The powder room is the perfect space to introduce pattern, color, or dramatic elements that might be too much in a larger room.

Laundry + Powder Bath

We approached this level with versatility in mind, creating spaces that can adapt to changing needs.. The layout provides privacy, while incorporating work-from-home solutions and cozy spots for relaxing. The result is a floor that feels like an entirely separate living area, perfect for hosting overnight guests or simply spreading out when the family needs more space.

The Second Floor

We designed the second bedroom to feel like a boutique hotel, with carefully selected furnishings, premium linens, and all the little touches that make a space feel special. The loft area adjacent to the sleeping area serves multiple purposes, functioning as both a sitting area and a workspace. The bathroom continues the spa-like aesthetic with beautiful tile, brass fixtures, and ample storage.

The Guest Suite + Loft

The lower level transformation is perhaps the most dramatic in the entire home, taking what was once an underutilized basement and turning it into a dynamic entertainment and recreation space. We addressed all the typical basement challenges and created a space that feels as finished and inviting as the upper floors. Through strategic design choices, including paint colors, lighting layers, and furniture selections, we created a lower level that feels like an intentional living space rather than an afterthought.

The Lower Level

We created a media area in the lower level that's perfect for movie marathons, with comfortable seating and task lighting. We incorporated durable materials throughout this space, knowing it would see heavy use, but never sacrificed style. Storage solutions were cleverly integrated to keep games, media, and equipment organized but out of sight when not in use. The result is a versatile space that serves the entire family's needs, while feeling cohesive with the rest of the home.
