There is a particular kind of exhale that happens when you arrive at a place that was made for rest. Stillwater is exactly that. A sun-soaked retreat in Boca Raton where everyday life gives way to waterfront living, warm evenings, and a slower, more intentional pace. This is a home designed as a true escape. A place that feels calm and grounding when quiet, yet opens effortlessly to welcome family and friends, filling every space with energy, connection, and ease. It holds both stillness and gathering beautifully, adapting to whatever the moment calls for.
Stillwater Boca
Custom cabinetry continues into the pantry in walnut and blue tones, anchoring the room while open shelving keeps everyday essentials both accessible and beautiful. We approached the pantry not as a secondary utility space, but as a continuation of the kitchen’s design language, one that deserves the same level of intention and craft. When organization is this considered, the act of preparing a meal becomes something to look forward to rather than something to move through.
Clean lines and a refined material palette bring quiet sophistication to a room that sees constant use, while layered lighting allows the space to shift effortlessly from morning coffee to evening dining. The custom cabinetry, from our collection with Unique Kitchens & Baths, was designed to feel built-in and considered, not assembled, with Armac Martin hardware adding a subtle warmth that complements the architecture. Together, the kitchen and pantry function as a single, seamless suite. A workspace and gathering place in equal measure, designed to make the business of living feel like a pleasure.
The kitchen is the centerpiece of this renovation. The room that needed to do the most and feel the best doing it. Rather than reworking the layout, we focused on refining how the space functions and feels, elevating what was already there into something more intentional, more cohesive, and more aligned with the way the family lives. We introduced warmth through walnut and deep sea blues, layered with touches of brass throughout as a subtle nod to the home’s original Boca character.

The entry is where the home makes its first impression, and we treated it with the same level of care as any other room. Rather than a pass-through, it was designed as a true introduction. The palette established here carries throughout the floor, creating a sense of flow and continuity that allows the home to feel cohesive and considered.
From the entry, the great room opens with a generosity of scale and light that feels distinctly Floridian. Vaulted, airy, and filled with natural brightness, it is a space that immediately invites you to stay. We layered in texture and warmth through furnishings, window treatments, and accent lighting to ground the volume, bringing a sense of intimacy to a room defined by its openness.
Just beyond, the dining room serves as the home’s social anchor. Designed with flexibility in mind, it moves effortlessly between an intimate dinner for four and a full table of guests. Across all three spaces, the material language remains consistent and intentional, with natural finishes, refined proportions, and a palette that feels as right at midday as it does by candlelight.
