Our mission is to create beautifully curated spaces that reflect the unique stories, lifestyles, and aspirations of our clients. As a full-service interior design studio and retail destination, we blend creativity with functionality to deliver timeless interiors that feel both inspiring and personal.
Originally built in 1981, this split-level home presented a challenge — a maze of disconnected spaces that would not serve our clients the way they wanted to live. Upon purchasing the house, they went on a designer search, and we are very grateful they engaged our team. The layout felt fragmented, with circulation paths and room allocations that made the home feel smaller and more complicated than it needed to be.
The finished home will carry a quiet blend of Hudson Valley and organic farmhouse influences, layered textures, warm wood tones, soft painted surfaces, and light-filled spaces that connect effortlessly to the surrounding landscape. In partnership with our friends at Bryce & Doyle, the transformation is already underway. In just a few months, the before-and-after reveal will be hard to believe. A once-complicated split-level reimagined as a warm, architectural family home that feels entirely new.

The First Floor
From there, the home opens into a cozy gathering room centered around a plaster fireplace wall with a small built-in library, creating a warm focal point for everyday living. Just beyond, the dining room becomes a destination in its own right, featuring a wood tongue-and-groove ceiling and a custom upholstered banquette that wraps the room, an inviting space designed for long dinners and easy conversation. A new window further strengthens the connection between the interior and the surrounding property.
Beneath a soaring vaulted ceiling, the kitchen becomes the heart of the home, a space where light pours in, conversations linger, and family life unfolds.
The kitchen palette layers charcoal cabinetry, rich walnut tones, and creamy white finishes, creating a balance of depth and softness that feels timeless yet current. To amplify the sense of openness, we are introducing new windows that bring sunlight into the room from two directions — streaming down from skylights above while also pouring through a long run of windows at the sink wall, overlooking the yard. The result will be a kitchen that feels bright, expansive, and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape. A thoughtfully integrated pantry ensures the kitchen functions as beautifully as it looks, creating a hardworking hub for daily life.
At the heart of the transformation is a completely reimagined kitchen. Anchored by a soaring two-story vaulted ceiling, the space embraces both scale and warmth. By reclaiming attic space above the kitchen, we were able to create this dramatic vertical volume while introducing a catwalk that connects the second floor. From above, family members will be able to look down into the kitchen — creating a visual connection between levels and adding an architectural moment that brings energy and life to the space. At the end of the catwalk, a small loft nook has been created, a tucked-away reading spot designed especially for the children, where they can curl up with books while still feeling connected to the activity of the home below.
The Kitchen + Dining + Living
Beyond the main living spaces, what was once an awkward transition zone is being transformed into one of the hardest-working areas of the home. A generous mud hall now anchors the circulation of the house, complete with a new powder room. Adjacent to it, the laundry room includes a dedicated dog wash station, a thoughtful feature for a family who spends much of their time outdoors. Together, these spaces create a beautifully functional hub designed to support daily life with ease.

The transformation continues with a new addition for the primary suite, designed as a private retreat within the home. The suite will feature a double-sided fireplace and a serene outdoor gathering space for the family, complete with a hot tub and views across their nature-filled acreage. Inside, the spa-like bath will include a large soaking tub positioned beside an expansive window overlooking the property, along with a connected wet area that unites the tub and shower into a calming, immersive bathing space.

The Lower Level
A barrel-vaulted wine cellar will complete the lower level, featuring a dramatic ceiling, a statement feature wall, and generous storage for an expanding collection. A custom dumbwaiter will even allow crates of wine to move easily between levels, blending old-world inspiration with modern convenience.
The lower level will offer spaces equally designed for both quiet moments and lively gatherings. A color-drenched library with a rolling ladder will create an intimate reading room, a deeply personal space that reflects something especially meaningful to our clients. Nearby, a relaxed hangout area will feature multiple Frame televisions installed gallery-style along one wall. When off, the screens will appear as art; when on, every game can be viewed simultaneously, transforming the space into the ultimate gathering spot for sports and celebrations.
